Permit Watcher is a service from EarlyCo, Inc. for monitoring overall status changes to City of Tampa permits.
Your text alerts
By checking the optional SMS consent box and submitting your mobile number, you agree to recurring automated Permit Watcher texts about status changes to the permits you request. Message frequency varies with the number of permits and detected changes. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You must own or be authorized to use the submitted number. We do not use a payment, form visit, or phone call as implied SMS consent.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP to stop messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@permitwatchhq.com. A carrier or messaging provider may send an opt-out confirmation. START does not automatically restart monitoring; contact support to review a new opt-in. Stopping texts does not cancel your paid subscription.
Timing and coverage
We text you when we detect a change. We check every 15 minutes, but city publication delays, outages, and carrier delivery can affect timing. We do not promise instant detection or delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Status changes that occur and reverse between polls can be missed. This service covers supported public City of Tampa Building portal records, not every record in Hillsborough County. Always verify a permit with the city before taking action. An alert is not authorization to begin work.
Price, founding offer, and cancellation
The subscription is $79 per month for unlimited supported Tampa permits. The first 25 completed founding checkouts receive the first 30 days free. A payment method is required, and billing then renews automatically at $79 per month unless canceled. Manual review is required before monitoring begins. Email hello@permitwatchhq.com before the next renewal to cancel; cancellation stops future renewals. No additional per-permit charge applies. Contact support promptly if we cannot support your permit or activate your service so we can resolve or refund an unused subscription.
